About Me

My name is Leon Breckenridge but you can call me Mr. Breckenridge. I am a filmmaker, educator, and activists. From community events, curriculum creation, to shooting Mr. Breckenridge has done it all. Now Mr. Breckenridge will venture into new endeavors will benefit his community and brand for years to come.

Before I begin to tell you what my endeavors I am doing I want to tell you who I am. I am from Oakland, CA, North Oakland. My Dad is a mechanic and owned a shop that was in the family name for 50 years. So I would play with equipments that could fix many things. With that knowledge of mechanics in my head I realize that I could apply the same knowledge to things that matter to me the most.

One of those is getting to the voice of the voiceless. People who are scared to talk about their issues. Their problems. I was given that ability by reading history books, narrative films, and cartoons that help me understand the human condition. This ability has not come overnight and it comes from reading stories and listening to people.

Another is creation. Humans have the ability to know when to create and when not to create. Creation is one of the skills that I have because of the many ways I can do it. From writing poetry, scripts, and letters to filming and editing I could many things that show the many experiences of many people on this Earth.

Mr. Breckenridge represents this new idea for me: to be myself and for you to see it. There are many mistakes I will make but at the same time they will make me the man I am today. Cause as a man you will make mistakes and in a mistake it will be a lesson for someone else.

Mr. Breckenridge will be a media content center giving news from perspectives you need seen before. The voiceless. The people who think should be shunned or demean but they are man too. They are women. They are children. They are you.

YouTube, Vimeo, Apple TV, iTunes, Twitch is a few places you will be seeing me on. These channels will give you an opportunity to see people who voices need to be heard.

That doesn’t mean it will be a sad and depressing channel where people are not victims. They will celebrate each other in ways we won’t understand. This is their lifestyle, not ours. We are only guests and we should act like such. But there will be conflict on this page also where people will give their opinions about how their lifestyle is better than theirs. Healthy debate never hurt anybody.

With that being said this channel is dedicated to the African Diaspora and supporting people who are apart of the diaspora and making sure they are being supported. With that being said despite this being a channel dedicated to such everybody can relate to this. African Diaspora is a lifestyle that has supported other cultures. Hip-Hop started from the blood of Africans. Malcolm X and other black leaders created ideas for movements like La Raza, Stonewall, and Native American.

Being a man creates things for other people that need that support. Mr. Breckenridge is a new generation of content managers that will benefit the voiceless in ways that has never happen.
